Because of Christmas falling on Tuesday this year, the regular business meeting scheduled for that evening will be held on Wednesday, December 26th at 19:30. In addition, with January 1st falling on Tuesday this year, the Annual Meeting for election of officers will be held on Wednesday, January 2nd at 19:30.

    Nomination of Officers for 2008 is rapidly approaching. Nominations will be held at the regular business meetings on December 11th and December 26th. Members are needed to fill many positions. Any member interest in serving, be sure to either be present at one of the meetings or submit a letter expressing your intentions.

    November 1, 2007 - The Allegany County Emergency Services Board, recently adopted at new Apparatus Number Policy which affects the Engine and Officer numbers. Effective today, Engine 16-12 will now be Engine 162 and Engine 16-14 will be Engine 164. In addition, all Officers will now simply use their position title followed by the company number and if more than one officer with a given title, a letter (A, B, C,...). While there will take some getting use to, all members need to be using the system for radio communications.
